The design choices and customer journey behind this website.
Give blocked-drain work a strong presence
Wilco’s campaign website puts drainage at the front of the customer journey. SoudCoh’s work connects the plumbing brand, the service message and the next action, with a particular focus on blocked-drain enquiries. The captured Sydney page leads with a large drainage headline, a plumber at work and immediate phone and booking options.
A bold expression of the Wilco brand
The design uses Wilco’s red identity against a dark background. Condensed headings, strong contrast and a large service photograph give the opening screen a distinct character. The red highlights draw attention to the service name, offer and contact controls.
Service information is arranged into short sections that a visitor can scan. The call-out offer appears with its conditions, and review information is positioned above the main heading. The layout gives a person arriving from an advertisement a quick overview of the business and a visible way to make contact.
Make the service and location clear
Navigation provides routes to home services, service areas, specials and contact information. That matters for a plumbing business whose customers may arrive with a specific drain problem or need to check local coverage. The page can introduce the relevant work before asking the visitor to take the next step.
The wider Wilco engagement includes Sydney and Newcastle, alongside regional advertising accounts. Service and location need to stay clear as that work expands. The website example shown here is the Sydney campaign property; regional campaign results are assessed against their own account and reporting period.
Adapt the message for a smaller screen
On mobile, the opening section centres the drainage message and stacks the service offer beneath it. A call button appears in the page, with another contact option in the bottom bar. The desktop photograph gives way to a more compact introduction, keeping the main information legible.
