Full funnel — how it all connects

    One chain,
    not five suppliers.

Advertising, lead generation, SEO, your Google Business Profile, the tracking underneath all of it, and the software your staff actually use. Bought separately they each report a win. Wired together they pay each other back, and this page shows exactly where.

    The problem

Five suppliers will give you five different stories.

The advertising agency reports clicks and cost per click. The SEO agency reports rankings and traffic. The social agency reports reach. The web developer reports uptime and page speed. Every one of those numbers is true, every one of them went up, and not one of them answers the question you actually had, which was what a customer cost you and whether there were more of them than last quarter.

The expensive part is not the duplication. It is that the channels are quietly paying each other back and nobody is holding both numbers, so nobody notices. Advertising proves which words are worth owning and the SEO brief never hears about it. Organic search starts covering a term and the advertising keeps paying full price for it. A listing goes stale and the ads absorb the difference. Every one of those is invisible from inside a single channel, and obvious from above all of them.

There is also nobody to ask. When the result is flat, five suppliers each produce a report showing their part went fine, and they are all correct.

What each part gives the others

Read it as a chain. Every link is holding the next one up.

The order matters and it is not the order most businesses buy in. Measurement comes before spend, spend produces the evidence, the evidence briefs everything organic, the work itself supplies the content, and internal software is what keeps a funnel that is working from swamping the business it feeds.

Why it is a loop and not a list

The last link feeds the first one back.

Internal software is where the chain closes rather than ends. The tools your staff use are the only place that knows which enquiries turned into real work, which were a waste of a Tuesday, and what the job was ultimately worth. Feed that back into the measurement and the advertising stops optimising towards enquiries and starts optimising towards customers, which are not the same thing and never have been.

That is the difference a single team can make and separate suppliers structurally cannot. Nobody hands the job outcomes back to the ad agency, because there is no reason for them to and no shared system to do it in. The loop stays open, everyone reports a win, and the business owner is left holding the only number that was ever in question.

A worked example, and exactly whose it is

The footage problem was never a filming problem.

Here is the kind of joined-up delivery this page is describing, and we are going to be precise about its status, because the difference matters.

A field team wears a body-worn camera on the job. At the end of the day they drop the camera into a dock on the desk and walk away. The footage copies itself off, verifies, and uploads in the background. Nothing is deleted from the camera until its upload has been confirmed, so the day's work cannot quietly disappear between the van and the cloud. An editor picks the material up the next morning, cuts it, and what comes out feeds social, the website and the business's listing.

We built that dock, and it runs today — for HireJuno, a separate venture inside this group, not for an advertising client. It is a small computer with a touchscreen that sits on a contractor's desk, watches for the camera, copies and verifies, uploads on its own, and locks itself if the device is ever revoked. It exists because footage was dying on memory cards and nobody was ever going to sit down at seven at night and upload it by hand.

So it is not something we have delivered to a marketing client, and we are not going to imply otherwise. It is on this page because it is the clearest illustration we have of how this team approaches a problem. The marketing complaint was that there was no content. The actual problem was human, and it happened at the end of a long day. The fix was a piece of hardware and a background process, not a content calendar and a reminder.

    Status, plainly

    Built
Yes. Hardware, the software on it, and the upload path behind it.
    Running
Yes — inside a separate venture in this group.
    Delivered to a marketing client
Not to date. If that changes this page changes.
    Available off a price list
No. It would be a build, and we would say so up front.

If your field team is generating footage nobody ever posts, that is the same problem, and we would come at it the same way.

    What is actually measured

Every figure on this page is an advertising figure.

We have not published results that isolate organic search, the listing, content or internal tooling, so there are none on this page pretending to be. These five are advertising accounts, each one links to the case study it came from, and each window is published as a length rather than a month.

You may not need to. The useful test is to ask both of them the same question — what did a customer cost us last month — and see whether the two answers agree. If they cannot both answer it from the same numbers, you are paying two suppliers for half a picture each. We are only worth the disruption if that gap is costing you more than the move would.

No, and almost nobody starts with all of them. Most engagements begin with the measurement and the advertising, because that pair pays back first and everything else is briefed from what it finds. Search, the listing, content and internal tooling get added when there is a reason to, and the reason is usually something the advertising data made obvious.

Measurement, then advertising. Every other order gets rebuilt eventually. If spend goes live before enquiries are being counted properly — phone calls included — the first month of data is worth very little, and you end up buying a second month to replace it.

Advertising answers in weeks. Organic search and the listing answer in months. Content and internal tooling mostly answer in the form of work your team stops doing, which never shows up as a line on a report. Anyone who gives you a date for the second and third groups is guessing.

Not today. We built it for HireJuno, a separate venture in this group, and that is where it runs. It is on this page as an illustration of how we approach a content problem, not as a product on a price list. If your field team has the same problem we would design for it — and we would tell you plainly that it was a build rather than something off a shelf.

Specialists, in the same room, sharing the same numbers. The person wiring your measurement is not the person writing your ads, and neither of them is the person building an internal tool. What is shared is the target and the reporting — so no one gets to report a win that another part of the chain is quietly paying for.

Start where it pays back first

    Ask us what
    a customer costs.

If nobody can answer that from one set of numbers, that is the whole problem in one question. We will read what you already have, tell you which link in the chain is broken, and say plainly whether it is worth fixing.
