    About SoudCoh

    We’re SoudCoh.

A Melbourne marketing agency built around one number — what a customer costs you. Five divisions, over 250 active engagements, and clients in Australia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and New Zealand.

5.0 — every single Google review · A$120M+ of media under management · Founded in London, run from West Tower, 608 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne

    What we were built against

    Seven habits we
    refused to inherit.

Every one of these is normal in this industry. Every one of them is a reason a business stops trusting its own marketing, and every one of them is a rule inside how we work. Two of them we have argued out at length — the five things a monthly report has to contain and what it means when nobody can explain the work you paid for.

    • Reports that measure the agency, not the business

Impressions, clicks, reach and engagement. Every one of them can go up in a month where you took fewer calls than the month before. Cost per customer is the only number that settles an argument.

    • Nobody can say what actually changed

“We optimised the campaign” is not a change. On our accounts every keyword, negative, bid and ad rewrite is written down, dated, and put on a board you can open.

    • One person, one login, no second read

The most expensive mistakes in advertising are made by somebody working alone at the end of a long day. Nothing reaches a live account here with one name on it.

    • Vanity work priced as strategy

Brand refreshes and content calendars sold to businesses that needed their phone to ring. We start from what a customer is worth and work backwards from there.

    • The tracking was never verified

Half the industry bids toward conversions nobody has ever confirmed fire. We check the container by hand and show you each one landing before a dollar is spent.

    • Bad news arriving late

Reporting on a fixed rhythm means the month it went badly gets the same document, on the same date, as the month it went well. That is the whole discipline.

    • Marketing that stops at the click

Ads, site, tracking, follow-up and the software underneath all pull on each other. We built five divisions so we could fix whichever part is actually broken.

Engagement and media figures describe SoudCoh's own book of work at the time of writing. Client campaign results appear further down this page and are dated in each case study; they are not a forecast for your business.

From a London desk to five divisions in Melbourne.

SoudCoh was founded by Rohit Sood on one rule: an engagement is judged on what a customer ended up costing, not on how the report looks.

Rohit started the agency in London, working with businesses across the UK and Europe. As his client base in Australia kept growing, they eventually asked him to move closer. He thought, “why not?” The weather is certainly better than London.

Now based in Melbourne, SoudCoh supports over 250 active client engagements across Australia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and New Zealand. Our focus has always been the same: build lead generation that scales with your business, not against it.

The work changes shape depending on the problem — Google Ads, paid social, SEO, e-commerce, a custom platform. What does not change is that somebody has to be able to trace the money from the ad to the invoice.

The agency grew into five divisions because the problems did. A council choosing between renewing global finance software and building its own is not a marketing question, and neither is a lead that never reached the sales team. We hire for the whole problem.

Those parts are not sold separately here and they are not run separately either: what the advertising, the search presence, the listing and the tracking each hand the next one is set out link by link, in the order the money actually moves through them.

The SoudCoh team at the APAC Search Awards
The team at the APAC Search Awards

We publish the record we can evidence and nothing else. The engagement counts, the media under management and every client result on this page are sourced and dated. Awards are not claimed here until we can show you the category and the outcome.

    Five divisions

We hire for the whole problem, not for the channel.

Most clients only ever meet the Marketing division. The other four exist because the thing standing between a business and its next customer is often not an advertising problem at all.

    Global reach

    Five countries. Melbourne roots.

What started as a one-person operation in London has grown into an international agency. The markets differ; the first question we ask never does. How the five markets are actually staffed and billed is on the global engagements page.

    • Australia

Head office in Melbourne — West Tower, Level 4/608 St Kilda Rd. Campaigns running in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra alongside it.

    • United Kingdom

Where the agency started. Rohit ran clients across the UK and Europe from London before the move, and the UK book never went away.

    • Saudi Arabia

Arabic-market campaigns and property, construction and finance clients, run on the same measurement standard as everything else.

    • United Arab Emirates

Dubai-based clients across services and trade. Different market, same first question — what is a customer worth to you.

    • New Zealand

Trades and services businesses, mostly, and a useful reminder that a strategy tuned for one city rarely transplants unchanged.

    SoudCoh Compound™

Six stages. A person’s name on every one.

This is how our team works on any account, in any division. It is people and files rather than software, and each stage issues a record you can open — every stage, its docket and the Refusal List behind it is published in full.

    1. Mandate

You set the number before we spend the money.

    2. Meter

If it can't be measured, it doesn't get bought.

    3. Sweep

Waste is found daily, named, and priced.

    4. Countersign

Nothing reaches a live account with one name on it.

    5. Ledger

Every change we make becomes a record you can open.

    6. Statement

A fixed rhythm, good news or bad.

    We’re not your typical agency.

These are the four things businesses tell us they stayed for, and underneath them the values those behaviours come from. None of it is complicated. Most of it is just done on the days it would have been easy to skip.

    • We would rather test than repeat

The safe move is to run this year what worked last year. We would rather put a small amount of budget behind something that might not work, because the accounts that stop testing are the ones that quietly get more expensive.

    • The boring days get done

Most of this job is unglamorous. Search terms get read on the days nobody would have noticed, negatives get added when the account looks fine, and the report goes out on the same date in a bad month as in a good one.

    • We keep up because we have to

TikTok ranking changes and AI answer engines are not a side interest here — they change where your customers look. We would rather learn a platform early and tell you it is not worth your money than find out late.

    • Every Google review we hold is a 5.0

Not a target, a current fact, and you can check it on our Google Business Profile rather than taking our word for it. It is also the number that would be hardest to get back if we stopped earning it.

    Our values, in four lines.

    • Results first

If a number cannot change a decision, it does not go in the report. That rules out most of what agencies send monthly, which is why ours is shorter than you expect.

    • Measure before you act

Decisions follow the numbers. Where the numbers are not trustworthy yet we fix the measurement first, because a decision made on a conversion nobody has confirmed fires is worse than no decision at all.

    • Partnership

Your strategist knows your margins, not just your click-through rate. That is the difference between advice about a campaign and advice about a business.

    • Transparency

Reporting on a fixed date, in plain English, and no long-term lock-in. The terms are put in front of you before anything is signed.

    Seven engagements. Real numbers.

Four client campaigns with the spend behind them, and three public-sector engagements published as sector and jurisdiction only — which is our written policy, not a formatting choice. If you only open one, open the Pink Flamingo end-of-lease cleaning account, which is the one with the ad spend printed beside the job count. The rest of the published results are filed by industry, city and spend band.

And the work we are not allowed to name.

    FAQ

    SoudCoh, answered.

Who runs it, where we are, what it costs, who owns the account, and what we will and will not claim about ourselves.

The first call is free and there is no deck.

    Book a call

SoudCoh was founded by Rohit Sood, who started the agency in London working with businesses across the UK and Europe before moving to Melbourne to be closer to a growing Australian client base. The business now runs as five divisions — Marketing, Technology, Public Sector, Research and Creative — with specialists in each rather than generalists across all of them. You meet the people who will actually work on your account, not a salesperson who hands you over afterwards.

Our head office is in Melbourne at West Tower, Level 4/608 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004. We run engagements across Australia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and New Zealand — over 250 active client engagements at the time of writing. Most work runs remotely without any loss; where an on-site session genuinely earns the travel, we arrange one.

Five divisions and over 250 active engagements, with more than A$120M of paid media under management. The Marketing division covers Google Ads, paid social, SEO, generative engine optimisation, e-commerce, lead generation, websites and the tracking beneath all of it. Technology builds custom enterprise software. Public Sector does options analysis and delivery for government and cultural clients. Research handles evidence and survey work, and Creative covers place branding, public art and civic publishing.

Two separate numbers. Your ad spend goes to the platform, and what it needs to be depends on your market and how many customers you want — the smallest companies we work with invest a minimum of A$3,000 a month, and our largest clients run multiple eight figures a month across paid channels. Our management fee is separate and scales with the work. The first call is free precisely so you get a real number for your situation before committing to anything.

No long-term lock-in. We would rather keep the work because it is producing than because a contract says you have to stay. What we do ask for is enough runway to be fair to the account — a campaign judged on its first ten days is being judged during the part where we are still cutting waste out of it. The terms are put in front of you in plain English before anything is signed.

We own and run the account, because the build is proprietary methodology refined across 250+ engagements — bidding architecture, negative-keyword libraries, audience stacks and conversion tracking. You get full-visibility reporting on performance and spend at all times, and on long-term marketing agreements ownership and handover options are available to discuss. You will never be in the dark about what is in the account or what it is doing.

We tell you, in the report, in plain English, and we change what we are doing. A campaign that is not producing gets restructured, repointed or stopped. If the honest answer is that the constraint is not marketing at all — pricing, capacity, the offer, the sales follow-up — we would rather say so than keep billing you. What we will not do is let something run quietly and hope it comes good.

It is the way our team works on any account: six stages every change passes through, each with a named person and a record you can open. Mandate agrees the target. Meter verifies the measurement. Sweep finds waste daily. Countersign means nothing goes live with one name on it. Ledger records every change we make. Statement issues reporting on a fixed rhythm, good news or bad. It is people and files, and there is a page explaining all six in detail.

Yes. Shopping campaigns, product feeds, marketplace spend, store analytics and lifecycle email are all in scope alongside services businesses. The questions change — contribution margin per order rather than cost per job — but the method does not: agree what a customer is worth, verify the measurement, then move the budget toward what produces.

No, and that is a written policy rather than a courtesy. Public-sector and cultural-institution engagements are published as sector and jurisdiction only — “major Victorian council”, “national cultural institution” — with no tender or reference numbers, because a tender number is a public record and would re-identify an otherwise anonymised client. The same standard would apply to you if you asked for it.

There is a photograph of the team at the APAC Search Awards, and we are proud of it. What we have deliberately not done is publish an award status we cannot evidence — our own internal audit could not confirm the category or the outcome, so nothing is claimed here until it can be. Everything else on this page is sourced: the engagement counts, the media under management, and every client result with its dates and spend.

Book a call, or send the form on the contact page. Thirty to forty-five minutes on what you sell, who buys it and what a customer is worth, then an honest read on what we would do first. You keep that read whether or not you work with us, and nobody will chase you weekly afterwards.
