The short list
The campaign decisions and results behind this work.
Dylan came to SoudCoh with an established plumbing business serving builders and a clear next step: expand Elite Plumbing Group’s residential work. The task was to present that capability to homeowners looking for help with a specific problem or installation.
The residential brief calls for a different conversation from builder work. A homeowner may be dealing with a blocked toilet, a leaking hot-water system or a dripping tap, rather than a scheduled construction project. The advertising needs a structure that makes those household services easy to recognise.
The account separates a Wollongong plumbing campaign from emergency and urgent plumbing. Its served groups cover toilet repair and installation, leaking taps, showers, hot-water installation and leaks, gas fitting, roof and gutter plumbing, leak detection and water-leak repair.
Drainage has detailed coverage too: blocked drains and toilets, drain unblocking, hydro jetting, CCTV inspections, sewer repair and pipe relining. These groups make the residential service range concrete, from a familiar household fault to a specialist drain investigation.
Smelly or slow drains, a burst flexible hose, a leaking pipe and a sewer overflow appear as distinct enquiry categories. They sit alongside people already asking for a named service such as a hot-water installation or gas fitter.
This is a useful structure for residential acquisition. It accommodates how a homeowner describes the problem and gives Elite a service-specific enquiry to discuss. It also keeps urgent repair needs separate from planned installation work, so the account can be reviewed through the type of work being requested.
The strategy brings an established builder-focused business into the residential conversation with a detailed local offer. Efficiency starts with reaching homeowners through the services Elite can deliver, building on the experience and capacity of the existing operation.
The Elite Plumbing Group website case study shows the public service presentation. Our Google Ads management work provides the corresponding campaign structure for homeowners searching for those services.

That is one account. Yours is a different one.
We read your ads, your search presence and your tracking the same way this one was read, and tell you what we would change first.
The definitions behind the campaign results, from enquiries and conversion rates to advertising spend.
Compound is how our team works on any account — six stages every change passes through. Two of them are why there is anything honest to publish.
If it can't be measured, it doesn't get bought.
Before a dollar moves, every action worth money to the business is tracked as itself — calls, forms, bookings, purchases — with values attached. Without that stage there is no honest number to publish afterwards.
Every change we make becomes a record you can open.
Every change lands in a dated record as it happens — what was added, what was stopped, what was rewritten and what it cost. Writing this page afterwards was reading a file, not reconstructing a memory.
No mystery and no lock-in before you have seen anything. This is the sequence every account on this site went through.
What you sell, who buys it, and what one customer is worth to you. No deck. You leave with a real number for your situation rather than a range.
We open your account — or your competitors' ground, if you do not have one yet — and write down every leak we can find. That list is yours whether or not you work with us.
Everything the account needs before it can spend a dollar: what it will bid on, what it must never pay for, the ad copy, the assets, the landing pages and the tracking. A second person checks all of it before anything is live.
Campaigns are created paused, every time, so you can read the whole build first. You activate when you are ready, not when we are.
The busiest fortnight your account will ever have. Search terms read daily, waste negated, early winners promoted, ad copy iterated against what is actually being served.
Weekly optimisation, reporting on a fixed cadence whether the news is good or bad, and a proper conversation each quarter about where the next block of budget should go.
Before you ask us anything
Here is what everybody asks first.
How the results were measured and how the approach could apply to plumbing businesses.
The first call is free and there is no deck.
Book a callElite had an established builder business and wanted to expand its residential work. The campaign brief was to reach homeowners through specific plumbing services and problems.
The account includes hot water, taps, toilets, showers, gas fitting, leaks, roof and gutter plumbing, blocked drains, CCTV inspections, hydro jetting and pipe relining.
The recorded structure includes separate Wollongong plumbing and emergency or urgent plumbing campaigns, with service groups for the different jobs and symptoms.
Campaign figures come from the advertising account and, where stated, SoudCoh.app enquiry and won-job records. Each result identifies the action or revenue it measures.
Result basis: Residential campaign development. The labels distinguish advertising conversions, call/form enquiries and won-job revenue. Enquiry events can include repeat calls; booked jobs are reported separately.
We assess your service area, competition, margins and customer value, then build a plan around the opportunities in your business. The first call establishes the priorities, budget and tracking for that work.
Where a comparable earlier result is available, the study shows both values. New accounts report their launch result, with the tracking basis explained alongside it.
We start with your goals, service area, competition and customer value. From there, we recommend the channels, website improvements and tracking that fit your next stage of growth.

The case study records what happened. These explain the channel, measurement or operating decisions behind the result.
Why a clean account can still report the wrong outcome when the conversion definition is wrong. That case is argued in The conversion-tracking errors that duplicate sales and GST.
The repeatable budget, query and tracking checks that sit behind a result like this one. The other half of it is set out in The Google Ads checks worth automating.
The work behind this one is written up in full under plumbing accounts, written up for plumbers, and how the work is sequenced before any of it is published sets out the sequence in order.
